Poster Submissions

Now accepting poster submissions from anthrozoology researchers and practitioners who face barriers to in-person attendance at the ISAZ 2025 conference.

The deadline is 11:59 PDT on Monday, May 5, 2025.

The International Society for Anthrozoology understands that in-person conference registration and/or presentation can be unattainable for some individuals. In the interest of creating a more accessible experience, we are pleased to announce the call for DEIB posters.

This call is aimed exclusively at individuals who are unable to attend the 2025 ISAZ conference in person due to one or more of the following:

  • Residency in an underrepresented country

  • Significant political barriers to travel

  • Significant financial barriers to travel

  • Significant psychological or physical barriers

  • Other (non-listed) reason (please provide some detail)

Poster submissions will be shared during regular conference hours at specified times. The poster creator will not attend online during these sessions. To facilitate conversation, poster authors can include their contact information on their poster, allowing in-person conference attendees to send questions to them to answer at a later time.

Instructions for putting together submissions can be found by clicking on the below submission portal. Submissions regarding any aspect of anthrozoology will be considered.

Symposium Submissions, Oral/Poster Abstract Submissions, Lightning Abstract Submissions, Workshop Proposals, and Community and Personal Experience Submissions for in-person presentations are now closed.
