University of Saskatchewan Accommodation Options

Voyageur Place:

​

Voyageur Place Dormitories (Athabasca Hall) are located in the heart of the University of Saskatchewan, just steps away from the scenic Bowl, Marquis Hall, and other campus amenities. Rooms are classified as Single Rooms or Double Rooms and include a furnished dorm with a Twin Extra Long bed (38 in x 79.5 in), desk, chair, study lamp, clothes closet, and chest of drawers. When staying in Voyageur Place, we typically ask that all groups confirm breakfast the following day as a bed and breakfast program. The breakfast will be applied to your keycard.

Features

  • Fully furnished dorms featuring Wi-Fi

  • Free coin-operated laundry within the building (laundry detergent/fabric softener/dryer sheets are to be provided by the individual)

  • Pillows, blankets, and sheets provided in each dorm

  • Private lounges & meal plans are available at an extra cost

  • Shared washrooms feature shower facilities with private change areas just outside the entrance to the shower stall.

  • Small fans are available for the group's use on a first come first-served basis.

Single dorm: $90.75 CAD/bed/night (includes breakfast)  

Registration Fee: $ 15.75 CAD per guest

College Quarter:

​

College Quarter (Pine Hall) is a 10-minute walk to campus. Offering 4 bedroom units. Bedrooms are private, bathrooms in the units are shared. 4-bedroom units offer 2 bathrooms with showers. Easy access to House and Quarter, the University, parking, and restaurants.

 

Features

  • Kitchenette for preparing meals and snacks includes refrigerator, sink, cupboard, kitchen table and chairs. Kitchen essentials are not supplied.

  • Private bedroom with bed, mattress (twin extra-long 38 in x 79.5 in), dresser, desk and chair, Bedroom keys are not available to lock the doors from the outside.

  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Living area with couch and chair

  • Air conditioning

  • Free laundry

 

Guests will be sharing the apartments with other attendees of the ISAZ- International Society of Anthrozoology. Roommate requests can be emailed to conference.services@usask.ca. Please note, roommate requests are not guaranteed and based on availability.

Cancellation: For all individual bookings, notice of cancellation must be received 48 hours prior to the arrival date. We reserve the right to charge the administration fee and one night's accommodations. Please note that full payment is required prior to check-in.

How to Reserve a Unit:

 

If you already have an account with us, please login , Once logged in, select your conference group. Alternatively, you will need to create your account and begin your Registration prior to selecting a unit. Online booking for accommodations will be available on our Conference website. Online booking will open on February 1, 2025 and close on May 15, 2025. Please ensure you complete your reservation before this date to secure your accommodation.

Marquis Culinary Centre is open daily for breakfast from 7:30am – 9:00am

​

Parking:

  • Lot U will be free to park and is on a first come first serve basis.

Check In & Office Hours:

Check in is at 128 Saskatchewan Hall, 91 Campus Drive

 

Guests can check in upon arrival and during office hours. We ask all guest to plan their travel arrangements to arrive during office hours. If a guest is arriving outside of our office hours, they will need to email conference.services@usask.ca

 

Check out is 11:00AM.  Please note check outs after 11:00AM is subject to a late check out fee.

Monday – Friday: 8:30AM – 9:00PM (Closed on Wednesday between 3:30PM – 4:30PM)

Saturday – Sunday: 9:00AM – 9:00PM

Statutory Holidays: 2:00PM – 9:00PM
